Katherine Jenkins welcomes baby boy

Katherine Jenkins has welcomed a baby boy.
The ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ hitmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday (24.04.18) to announce the arrival of her son Xander, who she has with her husband Andrew Levitas.
She wrote on Twitter: "Andrew, Aaliyah and I are proud to announce the arrival of our gorgeous son Xander Robert Selwyn Levitas. His middle names honour our late fathers who live on in our little ‘Defender of Men’ (Meaning of Xander). Our family, our home and are hearts could not be more full of love & we are incredibly grateful for the gift of being parents to these beautiful children. Cwtches [hugs] to you all xxx (sic)"
Katherine – who also has Aaliyah, two – announced her pregnancy back in November.
She wrote: Andrew and I are overjoyed that our family will be growing in 2018 with the addition of our second child – a baby brother for our little superhero Aaliyah!!! (sic)"
The couple have always wanted to add another little one to their brood.
She said previously: "We definitely want another child. There’s no ovulation charts on the wall or anything … not yet anyway … but that’s because I’m about to go on tour. But we hope we will be lucky enough to have a second child."
Katherine married Andrew within a year of the pair first meeting but she says they moved so fast because she was so sure about her future with her beau.
She said: "It has been a whirlwind. I’m not a person who rushes into anything. I consider things and I’m actually quite cautious, especially with big decisions. But when you know, you know and with Andrew, I just knew straight away. He’s an amazing husband, an amazing dad and I just feel like I understand the reason for everything now."
