Kate Moss jumps fence to see George Michael

Kate Moss climbs over her fence to visit George Michael.
The 42-year-old supermodel – who has 14-year-old daughter Lila with ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack – loves the fact she can count one of her teenage idols as a friend, and she likes to make full use of the pool he has in his garden during the summer months.
Kate talked about her friendship with George, who lives near her in Highgate, North London, as she joined BBC Radio 6 Music host Shaun Keaveny to co-host the final part of his show, which is named after her, in a segment recorded recently which will air on Friday (23.12.16).
Introducing Wham’s ‘Last Christmas’, she said: "[I was a] huge fan. It was my first tape. I got it for Christmas, Wham!. My mum bought it for me. That and Blondie. And yeah, huge. I love George Michael."
Asked by Shaun if it’s true she knows George, she said: "Yes. Dreams come true. I do, yeah. And he knows me. But even more importantly. ‘Kate, hi.’ Ooooh.
"We have [visited each other] in the past. When it’s hot. He’s got a pool, so when it’s hot I’m like ‘Oh can Lila come and jump in your pool?’ And he’s like ‘Yeah, come over.’ And we can actually climb from garden to garden over the walls with a ladder, we’ve done that a couple of times. It is so much fun."
Kate loves to sing and one of her highlights was when she belted out her favourite karaoke song, Lionel Richie and Diana Ross’ ‘Endless Love’, with the ‘Dancing On The Ceiling’ hitmaker himself.
Discussing her favourite karaoke tracks, she said: "Oh I do love ‘Endless Love’, as duet. That was another OMG moment. Me and Lionel. Doing it over the phone. Was amazing.
"My friend was on the phone to him and I went ‘Hi Lionel.’ And then we just started talking and I was just like,’My love’, and then he came in ‘There’s only you’. And we did the whole song. Was amazing.
"And then and I got really overexcited and said I can do Tammi Terrell as well, you know, and then he launched into that! It was major."
And despite her own high profile, Kate still gets starstruck and has had plenty of moments throughout her career that have left her stunned.
She said: "I danced with James Brown at a fashion show for Thierry Mugler. It was so random. He was there, he managed to get him and I turned around and I was in a big hooped skirt, dress thing that I couldn’t even move in, and I turned around and I was dancing with James Brown. That was an OMG moment. It was crazy.
"I went to see Led Zeppelin at the O2 and was sitting with Paul McCartney. And that was quite fun sitting with him. And then we went backstage and I was hanging out with Lisa Marie [Presley] and Priscilla [Presley] and Riley [Keough], the three generation Presleys. Major. I’ve got pictures somewhere of all of us hanging out."
Listen to Kate during the Kate Moss Hour on Sean’s BBC 6 Music show between 9-10am on Friday.
