Kate Beckinsale has dressed up as a giant penis.
The 42-year-old actress donned an inflatable phallic outfit and claimed it was her way of trying to "make it in a man’s world".
Kate shared the picture of herself in the costume in a hotel room on Instagram and captioned it: "Just a girl trying to make it in a man’s world…(sic)"
The ‘Love & Friendship’ actress recently revealed she sends naked pictures of her former lover Michael Sheen – who she dated for eight years until 2003 – to their daughter Lily, 17, to cheer one another up.
After chat show host Conan O’Brien said: "Apparently your daughter, as we know is now 17, likes to occasionally go on the internet and Google ‘Michael Sheen naked’," Kate explained that there is one particular picture that cracks them both up, an image of Michael in a bath.
She said: "My daughter and I are both from the school where we think a naked man is very funny in the right circumstances, not as a subtle surprise jumping out at you in a dark alley, but it’s a funny thing.
"And sometimes in a low moment she’ll text me that picture or I’ll text it to her … If I sense that she’s feeling low, I think, ‘You know what, she could use Mike in the bath.’ It works very well most times."
Kate recently admitted she loved playing the sexy and flirtatious Lady Susan in her latest movie ‘Love & Friendship’, which is based on Jane Austen’s 1871 epistolary novel ‘Lady Susan’.
She shared: "I love Lady Susan, she’s so funny and so unusual for that period in literature. I grew up with Jane Austen but I hadn’t seen a character like that in Austen’s work before.
"I’m used to her being funny and socially insightful, but Lady Susan is terrible and diabolical and cruel. When I first read the script I thought, ‘Is this really Jane Austen, or has somebody just written in her style?’ I hadn’t realised she had such a naughty streak."
