Kate Beckinsale accidentally drew a penis on her daughter’s homework.
The 43-year-old actress has admitted she once got 17-year-old Lily, whom she has from her relationship with Michael Sheen, into trouble with her teacher when she "inadvertently" scribbled an embarrassing manhood across her school books.
The ‘Click’ star explained that her daughter’s tutor told her off for drawing "inappropriate" symbols on her work before Lily explained that it was actually her mother who had got carried away.
And it’s not just her daughter’s homework Kate has a habit of destroying with images of penises, as she also likes to rearrange her fruit to resemble the male sex organ.
Speaking on ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ on Wednesday (26.10.16), Kate said: "It’s like my bat sign. People know I’ve been there if there fruit bowl has been rearranged."
Meanwhile, although Kate likes to make a joke out of a serious situation, she hasn’t had the easiest of times of late as her husband Len Wiseman has filed for divorce.
In the court papers obtained by TMZ earlier this week, the ‘Total Recall’ director cited irreconcilable differences. Neither Kate nor Len are asking for spousal support.
Although the court papers were only submitted recently, it’s believed the pair actually split 11 months ago but were determined to keep it under wraps until they felt ready to share it.
A source said recently: "They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there. There has been no drama. It’s just not Kate’s style. They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart."
Len is determined to remain on good terms with Kate, whom he married in 2004, because he doesn’t want their split to affect his relationship with his step-daughter Lily.
The insider said: "Kate is not dating and only focused on her daughter and work. [Len’s] primary concern in this is Lily. He loves his step-daughter and is there for her."
