Karthik Nagesan to be a presenter?

‘The Apprentice’s Karthik Nagesan wants to become a presenter.
The 33-year-old IT Consultant – who was known for rubbing his fellow contestants up the wrong way – may have been given the boot from the reality TV show in Thursday (17.11.16) night’s episode but he’s not letting that put the brakes on his career.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I’m working on my own thing at the moment but, in a strange way, I’m popular in the media so I don’t know if I’m going to go down the media route or pursue my IT business or do I do both. Luckily, for me, I can do both. I’d like to be a serious reality TV star. I want to be a presenter on a documentary. I’d like to make a travel documentary, I think I can offer good value."
And, although he’s keen to do "proper" work, the wind-up merchant is open to the idea of taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ next year.
He explained: "Maybe I can do the jungle next year. I haven’t had any one approach me yet but there are some talks and some calls on the presenting and business side."
Karthik was adamant he could make Lord Sugar a "billion pound company" if he was given the chance, but he’s now decided he wants nothing to do with the businessman.
He explained: "Lord Sugar is a very shrewd investor. He might say in a few months, ‘You know what Karthik, I want to invest in your company.’ And I’m going to say, ‘Well you let me go, remember? So you’ll have to join the queue like the rest of them.
"I’d be very happy for Lord Sugar to be part of my IT company but he would have to join the queue. But as soon as he gets to the front, I will welcome him with open arms."
