Kara Tointon gives birth to baby boy

Kara Tointon has become a mother for the first time.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star gave birth to a baby boy – her child with her fiancé Marius Jensen – on Thursday November 22 and the couple are both "very happy", a family member has said.
A source close to Kara confirmed the news to The Sun Online, saying: "Kara gave birth on Thursday to a little baby boy."
Kara – who is best known for playing Dawn Swann in the BBC One soap – only announced she was pregnant in October 2018, just a few weeks before she was due to give birth, describing it as a "life-changing" moment.
Revealing she was having a baby in the pages of HELLO! magazine, she said: "It is an incredible time. It is the biggest life-changing moment when you have this little human being coming into your life that you are yet to meet. I can’t wait for motherhood and all the challenges it will bring. For me it was always about meeting the person that you know is the one you want to share this experience with. Marius and I said, ‘If it happens, we are ready, but we won’t plan,’ and then it happened quite quickly. For me, this is the perfect age."
Kara – who was crowned the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ champion back in 2010 – and Marius got engaged after the hunk popped the question whilst she was in bed at home back in March, a week before they went on holiday to India where he had intended to propose.
