Kanye West’s icy demands

Kanye West has requested two slushie machines on his tour rider.
The 39-year-old rapper has ensured he will be able to sip frozen cocktails backstage at his shows after requesting the specialist equipment, one of which will dispense his beloved Hennessy cognac with coke, and the other Grey Goose vodka and lemonade.
According to TMZ, the vodka was requested by Kanye for his wife Kim Kardashian West.
Kim had shown off the cocktail machines backstage at the ‘Famous’ hitmaker’s Toronto show, and they will be a regular fixture at each of the gigs on his tour.
Last year, Kanye’s hotel rider was leaked and showed he insists on having cylindrical vases, a discontinued speaker and black towels in all his suites when on the road.
He also requests mint dental floss and Kashi Go Lean cereal, as well as $3,200 worth of liquor, including three bottles of Paradis Hennessy.
While he doesn’t have specific requirements for his three-year-old daughter North or eight-month-old son Saint, his friend and former ‘Watch the Throne’ tourmate Jay Z insists his four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy’s needs are met, thanks to the addition of organic whole milk on his rider.
And all the ’99 Problems’ hitmaker’s suites must be childproofed with all corners, sharp edges, and electrical outlets covered, and statues, lamps, and breakable objects removed.
Jay – who is married to Beyonce – insists his accommodation is heated to 71°F and requires three $80 Mayan tuberose-scented candles.
He also requests staff don’t vacuum near his room and, to "avoid embarrassment", they must not ask for concert tickets.
Though the rapper doesn’t request as much liquor as Kanye, he does insist on Ace of Spades champagne.
However, his contract specifies he can’t be charged for the fizz as he owns the company.
