Kanye West and Kim Kardashian want to have a son.
The couple, who already have 13-month-old daughter North together, are hoping the reality TV star will be pregnant with their second child by the end of the year, and are desperate to have a baby boy.
A source close to the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ beauty told Us Weekly magazine: "Kanye wants a boy!"
The duo, who got married in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy in May, started trying for another child while enjoying their second honeymoon to Mexico last month and hope to have more time to focus on making their wish come true while Kanye, 37, records his new album in one location.
But if and when she does fall pregnant again, Kim, 33, who was hurt by criticism about the amount of weight she put on while expecting North, plans to keep the news under-wraps for as long as possible.
The insider explained: "Kim won’t tell anyone until she’s five months along. She doesn’t want people scrutinising her body."
The E! star previously confessed that North made her want to have "a million" children because she is the perfect baby.
She said: "I’ve always wanted about six [kids]. After having [North], I would have a million."
