Justin Bieber makes No. 1 plea on Snapchat

Justin Bieber has made a last-minute Snapchat plea to get his album to number one in the UK.

The 21-year-old singer released his new album ‘Purpose’ last week on the same day as One Direction’s ‘Made In The A.M.’ and he has taken to the photo and video-sharing app to beg his fans to support him.

Meanwhile, he’s expected to reach the top spot in the US Billboard charts, and is on course to hit number one in the UK singles charts with ‘Sorry’.

And in other messages on his Snapchat – which he uses under the username rickthesizzler – he asked a pal to back his campaign.

While sitting in a car with Justin and another man, the friend said: "Look, I think he’s got something to say, Josh has something to say, we all have something to say. If you’re in the UK I think you should go and get the album. Please.

"So here’s the deal, if you get this guy, Justin Bieber, if you get his new album, called Purpose, in the UK…"
