Joshua Jackson turns to dating apps

Joshua Jackson is using dating apps to find love.
The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actor is reportedly "hitting the dating scene hard" in a bid to distract himself from the news his former long-term partner Diane Kruger – who he split from last year after almost a decade together- has moved on with ‘Walking Dead’ actor Norman Reedus.
A source told Grazia magazine: "Josh is playing the field and has even started using dating apps.
"He’s still cut up about Norman and Diane, but getting back into the dating scene has been a welcome distraction.
"It won’t be surprising if he’s seen with a lot of other women in the coming weeks, but the ones he’s been seeing so far haven’t been involved in the showbiz industry."
Just a few months ago, the 38-year-old hunk admitted he had found dating very different now to when he was last single because of the reliance on technology.
He said: "Things have changed a little bit since last time I was single. Maybe it was there, but I don’t remember it. I mean, everything’s on your phone now, right?
"There’s no more talking to people anymore. You talk to somebody and they’re like, ‘Ugh! No, no, no, no, no! We don’t do that anymore.’ So, yeah, it’s been quite a big change."
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that the pair split because Diane "resented" leaving France to be with her boyfriend in the United States.
A source said: "Diane is fiercely independent and ended up resenting leaving Paris to be with Joshua. She’s also disillusioned with Hollywood and wasn’t interested in attending events as part of a power couple, she needs her own space. The move was make or break and in the end, it broke them. Joshua is heartbroken."
