Josh Gad wants Frozen-Ghostbusters crossover film

Josh Gad wants to do a ‘Frozen’ and ‘Ghostbusters’ crossover film.
The 36-year-old actor felt "beyond honoured" when he saw a photograph of his character Olaf from the magical movie as a giant balloon embedded in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City yesterday (23.11.17), but seeing his alter ego floating around the Big Apple sparked an idea for a future blockbuster.
He said: "Beyond honored. #olaf #ThankfulFor #MacysThanksgivingParade."
He then pitched his idea to ‘Ghostbusters’ director Paul Feig via Twitter.
He wrote: "@paulfeig I feel like there’s a Ghostbusters crossover to be discussed."
And it looks like the 55-year-old director is on board with the idea as he simply replied: "’Frozebusters.’ Let’s do it!"
Gad then added: "Great. I’ll have Disney and Sony get into it on Monday. (sic)"
Meanwhile, Feig was at the helm of the 2016 reboot of the hugely popular 1984 Ivan Reitman movie, which most notably swapped the main roles from male to female, and starred the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Kate McKinnon.
However, despite creating a buzz when it was announced, the feature didn’t do as well as expected when it hit cinema screens, and he now believes the fact that the movie unintentionally became a "cause" movie for gender equality is the reason it didn’t sell as well as it had hoped.
He said previously: "I think it kind of hampered us a little bit because the movie became so much of a cause. I think for some of our audience, they were like, ‘What the f**k? We don’t wanna go to a cause. We just wanna watch a f***ing movie.’"
The filmmaker admits the lack of success the movie garnered is a "great regret" in his life, as he "really loved" the feature, and was convinced it would be a success.
