Jorgie Porter’s dog saved her

Jorgie Porter’s pet pooch has mended her broken heart.
The 28-year-old actress was left distraught when her grandmother Elizabeth – who raised her along with her mother Julie – tragically passed away last year but believes her dog Lady, who she rescued, got her through the ordeal.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "Getting Lady changed our lives. Mine and my mum’s. My mum didn’t want to leave the house after my grandmother died, so obviously there was a reason to. It changed everything. It’s just a brilliant thing, and I know it’s really sad."
And, although she’s regularly trotting around the globe, the blonde beauty loves coming home to little Lady when she’s had a bad day because she makes her smile.
She said: "You’ve had a bad day and they [animals] just change everything, don’t they?"
Meanwhile, the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star is now thinking about getting her adorable four-legged friend a little companion and is considering a career change.
She explained: "Well, I’ve always said that Lady needs a little mate. I would like a dog community if I could. When I go out to Los Angeles and stuff, people have their dogs and the guy that I live with, he looks after people’s dogs sometimes, and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I could be a dog walker!’ "
