Jorgie Porter ‘flattered’ by Hollyoaks queries

Jorgie Porter is "flattered" people still think she is in ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 31-year-old actress departed her role as Theresa McQueen in 2016 after eight years on the Channel 4 soap, and while she is surprised that people still think her alter-ego lives in the village, she counts it as a compliment.
She said: "People still think I’m in the show, which is amazing.
"Whenever I meet people, they say, ‘Oh, you’re in ‘Hollyoaks’, and I’m like, ‘No. I’ve not been in it for three years.’
"But I love that – it’s flattering."
Since departing ‘Hollyoaks’, Jorgie has appeared in several reality shows, such as ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and ‘Dancing on Ice’, but she would love to appear on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ next.
She added: "People ask me which one I would do next, and I always say ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ would be nice.
"I think it’s probably the last one I could do."
While she finished second on ‘Dancing on Ice’ and had a great time in the jungle, Jorgie says ‘Celebrity First Dates’ was the "best thing" she’s ever done.
She told Inside Soap magazine: "But you know what was actually really fun? Being on a dating show.
"Doing a job where I date men is probably the best thing I’ve ever done.
"It sounds like something Theresa would love as well."
Last year, the actress admitted she would love to see Theresa return to the village as a "grandma with 20 kids" one day.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I obviously love ‘Hollyoaks’, I’d never say never about returning in the future but I enjoy doing certain other things at the minute.
"I just like to experience other things. Because once you’re in a soap, you’re there. You’re in a bubble.
"So as much as I love it, I like to space out a little bit.
"I’d love to go back one day, maybe as a grandma with 20 kids."
