Jonas Blue wants One Direction collaborations

Jonas Blue wants to collaborate with all the members of One Direction individually.
The ‘By Your Side’ star thinks Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson all have great voices in different ways, and he’d jump at the chance to get into the recording studio with them.
He said: "I was actually watching the American Music Awards the other day and I was listening to Niall playing his new single and I could definitely think his voice would be great for a collaboration or something like that but I really love all of their voices in different ways and yeah if I could collaborations with any of them that would be great."
The 27-year-old star – whose real name is Guy Robin – previously missed on a UK number one single with his track ‘Fast Car’ after he was beaten to the top spot by former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and his debut solo single ‘Pillow Talk’, but he insists he wasn’t too disappointed.
When asked if he would avoid releasing a single around Zayn’s music in the future, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It doesn’t bother me if I’m honest to be up against somebody like Zayn who was in one of the biggest boy bands in the world.
"It’s not a bad thing and the streaming was way up there as well so yeah it was a good place to be [but] unfortunately he did get the number one spot." And while he was gutted to lose out on the top spot to the ‘Cruel’ singer – he said he wouldn’t rule out collaboration with him as he thinks "he is great."
Meanwhile, Jonas is excited about his upcoming debut album, which will likely feature his new single ‘By Your Side’, and thinks the record will be "really cool".
He said: "I’ve literally just got back from the States, where I’ve been pretty much been working on music for the new album, which is something that hopefully comes to life end of next year and working with a bunch of new hot songwriters and got some amazing music finished.
"It’ll be a really cool album because I’ll be going through a few different genres as well."
