Jonas Blue has a plan to make Jess Glynne collaboration happen

Jonas Blue is going to use his appearance at MTV Crashes Plymouth to get Jess Glynne to collaborate with him.
The 26-year-old producer-and-DJ has scored one of the biggest global hits of 2016 with his tropical dance version of Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’ and his second single ‘Perfect Strangers’ is currently riding high in the charts.
The British songwriter – real name Guy Robin – performs at the mini-festival in South West England on Thursday night (28.07.16) and he is sharing the bill with ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’ hitmaker Jess and he has come up with a cunning plan to get her on one of his songs.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I’m going to take Jess Glynne’s phone and put my number on it. Then she’ll see it and think, ‘Oh, I must have spoken to him at some point, we better do a collaboration! She would be a good fit for my music, I love Jess’ voice, it would be an amazing to do something with her."
Guy has promised fans coming to see him a high energy set and he has some special guests joining him on stage but he is staying tight-lipped on who they are.
He teased: "The fans can expect loads of energy, really good house music, a few pop numbers in there that they’re going to know and obviously Jonas Blue music too. There’s going to be some cool remixes that people will know and I’ll be bringing out some special guests during the set but I’m keeping it hush hush!"
The other artists performing on day one of the event are Rudimental,
Anne-Marie and Raleigh Richie, while on Friday (29.07.16) Afrojack,
Example, Tough Love and Sub Focus will be taking to the stage.
The live extravaganza is returning to Britain’s Ocean City for the third year running and MTV Crashes Plymouth will be shown on MTV’s flagship UK music TV channels.
