Johnny Depp advising Harry Styles on fame

Johnny Depp has been giving Harry Styles advice on how to deal with fame.

The 50-year-old actor – who recently got engaged to actress Amber Heard – has found an unusual friend in 20-year-old One Direction star Harry Styles, and has even been offering him advice on how to deal with super-stardom.

A source revealed: "Harry and Johnny have become good mates lately. Johnny has been on call to give Harry advice and, if he can, help him cope with the pressures of being a superstar."

Although ‘The Lone Ranger’ star met Harry and his bandmates – Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – at his mansion in Los Angeles last summer, the pair are said to have really hit it off when they became neighbours in Hampstead, London, late last year.

The source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Harry is in total awe of Johnny and looks on him as his ultimate hero, while Johnny sees Harry as a younger version of himself.

"Each of them has had to deal with being one of the most famous people in the world and have a lot more in common than you might expect."
