John Turturro working on Big Lebowski spin-off

John Turturro is reportedly working on a ‘Big Lebowski’ spin-off.
The 59-year-old actor is currently working on the movie ‘Going Places’, which Birth.Movies.Death reports will focus on his ‘Big Lebowski’ character Jesus Quintana, despite being originally billed as a remake of the 1974 film ‘Les Valseuses’.
The movie also stars Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou, and Susan Sarandon and BMD describes the story as: "Two petty thieves, Turturro’s Jesus and Bobby Cannavale’s Petey, compete to give a woman (Audrey Tautou) her first orgasm after she’s roped into their hijinks."
Susan reportedly plays a criminal who has recently been released from prison.
Jeff Bridges previously revealed he was impressed with John’s idea for a spin-off and would love a cameo but also spoke of his hopes for a sequel to the original movie.
He said: "I’m hoping they make a little Lebowski [sequel] because it’s all set up…I impregnated Maude. As The Stranger says, ‘There’s a little Lebowski on the way,’ you know?"
Meanwhile, David Huddleston, most famous for his role as the titular character in ‘The Big Lebowski’, passed away from kidney and lung disease in Santa Fe, New Mexico earlier this month, at the age of 35.
While he starred in several movies and on Broadway, he became known for his role as The Big Lebowski, a cantankerous, wheelchair-bound character who escapes kidnap by thugs who instead mistakenly target Bridges’ character The Dude.
