Luna Simone Stephens looks like both of her parents.
John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen welcomed their first child last week and producer Mike Jackson, who works with John on ‘Underground’, says the beautiful tot is a mixture of both of her parents.
He told Entertainment Tonight: "She is absolutely beautiful. I think she looks like both of them. She’s gorgeous!
"They’re happy. They’re elated. It’s a long time coming. They went through a lot to have this child. They’re excited — we’re all really blessed that she’s a part of all of our lives."
Chrissy and John – whose real name is John Roger Stephens -took to social media over the weekend to announce their daughter’s birth.
The model wrote: "She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy."
And John added: "Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!"
The tot weighed 6lbs 11oz, according to Chrissy’s Instagram post.
Chrissy previously revealed she chose a female embryo while undergoing fertility treatment.
She said: "I’ve made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.’
"I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me. It excited me to see … just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond."
