John Barrowman set for This Morning return

John Barrowman has hinted he will be presenting ‘This Morning’ again soon.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ star stepped in to cover for Phillip Schofield alongside Holly Willoughby on the famous sofa on Monday (21.01.19) and not only did the 51-year-old actor enjoy being pushed out of his "comfort zone", he’s revealed it wasn’t just a one-off.
Asked if he is planning to do more presenting at the National Television Awards at The O2 in London on Tuesday (22.01.19), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It’s what I used to do years and years ago before I got involved in ‘Dr Who’ and ‘Torchwood’, doing my own entertainment show.
"So yeah it’s nice to be back and doing that kind of stuff, it’s something different and takes me out of my comfort zone, so yeah, I think you will see me [again]."
Although ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ ended several weeks ago, John is still in constant contact with his campmates as they have a WhatsApp Group – but he was left panicking he’d offended his new pals when a saucy message he sent while tipsy was ignored for some time.
Asked who is the funniest in the group, he said: "Oh my gosh! Anne [Hegerty]’s really funny because she puts in some quips every now and then, Noel [Edmonds] will do some funny stuff, Nick [Knowles]!
"Nick is like the dad of the group, he tells you everything that’s happening and I’m pretty good too!
"I put something on the other day when – shall we say – I had two vodka sodas and I think an aubergine went in there and nobody answered me for 12 hours!
"But then Fleur [East] got it and started laughing! My aubergine joke and I had two cocktails!
"I put smiley smiley, something else, something else… who cares.. aubergine… and she put ‘WAAAAA’ back!"
The ‘Torchwood’ actor’s fellow finalist, Emily Atack, was also full of praise for the group because she loves the fact they are "constantly" updating one another on their lives and careers.
She said: "It’s hilarious, it’s constant, it’s so funny.
"Rita [Simons] is pretty funny in there actually, she’s doing panto at the moment, she sends us little updates in her dressing room and she’s got all of her gear on, she’s playing the evil queen.
"We’re just always sending each other pictures and what we are up too, it’s great."
