Joey Essex’s Twitter hacked

Hackers have targeted Joey Essex’s Twitter account and told his fans he wants to become a father.

The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star appeared to have gone on a bizarre rant yesterday (06.07.15) when he shared multiple posts about his desire to have a baby with his 3.3 million followers.

However, the 24-year-old star soon revealed his account had been taken over by the new ITV2 show ‘Safe Word’.

Speculation began when Joey appeared to have written: "More to life than being reem. Wanna share something with u. I’m hoping to be a dad soon #littleJoeyEssex.

"BTW have froze some sperm just in case. #TrickierThanItSounds #cloudylollipop.

"Just saw a well cute baby outside Tescos. Adopting is when you pick someones baby and make them an offer right? #babyshopping. (sic)".

However, it appears the reality star quickly managed to regain control of his account and blamed the outburst on the new series which is being presented by Rick Edwards and features Katherine Ryan and David Morgan.

He wrote: "If you’ve noticed strange activity today those messages weren’t from me I’ve been hacked for a new TV series @itv2safeword Coming soon itv2."

The series features two teams – made up of a celebrity and two comedians – who go head to head as both stars have "their public profiles scrutinised and their social media accounts hijacked as the rival panels poke around their personal and professional lives".

The celebrities can only make them stop by using a special ‘safe word’.
