Joey Essex plans to sell his own branded skipping ropes

Joey Essex is selling his own branded skipping ropes.
The 29-year-old star is poised to add "hundreds and thousands of pounds" to his bank balance by charging £20 each for one of his branded skipping ropes.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: "Joey is more business savvy than people may think and he’s got a bank balance to back it up.
"Thanks to his impressive torso he’s found a market for branded gym gear. And he’s doing so well he’s importing more from China."
Joey – who first found fame on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – accidentally whipped himself with a skipping rope back in 2016.
The gym injury left him with two mysterious crucifixes on his back, and led Joey to speculate it could’ve even be a sign from his late mum Tina.
Speaking about the injury at the time, Joey explained: "I was skipping hard in the gym when I accidentally lashed myself. It drew blood and hurt.
"When I looked at the injuries I saw two big perfect crosses – they are the crucifixes you get. Maybe it’s a message from Mum but I’m going with it being a sort of religious message."
Joey also claimed the incident made him feel more "comfortable" about embracing religion.
He said: "Being a Christian is sort of not cool … I have suppressed such feelings before but this is weird.
"Before I didn’t want to get involved. I was scared of looking stupid but now I am comfortable with it.
"I won’t be telling my mates though in case they think I’ve gone strange.
"I am older and confident and comfortable enough to deal with it now without worrying about being laughed at. Now I know I’ve seen the signs. It is what it is."
