Joey Essex doesn’t want to do politics ‘ever again’

Joey Essex doesn’t want to learn about politics "ever again."
The 26-year-old reality TV star has been forced to sink his teeth into the US election as part of his hit series ‘Educating Joey Essex’ and, although he’s found it really interesting following Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton on their campaign trails, he doesn’t want to think about governments any more.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "It’s a great show. Basically, I’ve been chosen to be this political reporter and obviously Joey Essex – me – has no interest in politicians whatsoever.
"So I’m actually fronting it, I’m trying to learn. I’m putting in a weeks’ work of effort to get to the bottom of politics and then I’m educating other people. Apart from that, I don’t want to learn about politics in my life, ever again. It was even more difficult because it wasn’t even in England, it was America so you can imagine how hard it was."
However, although he found it tough understanding the election procedure, the former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ hunk had a "fun time" exploring the White House.
He explained: "At the same time it was fun, it’s amazing that I get to do all these amazing things like I went into the White House. It’s sick really. I watched President Barack Obama do a speech but I didn’t get to speak to him. He’s cool, he’s quite straight up. It’s just a shame he’s not going to be the next President of America – that’s what American’s think!"
‘Educating Joey Essex’ will return to screens next month.
