Joey Essex is dating a girl named Reem.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star – who describes everything he likes as "reem" – reportedly met the girl of his dreams, Reem Mesha, while on holiday in Dubai and is said to have "high hopes" she could become his girlfriend.
A source shared: "Joey couldn’t believe she’s called Reem – he even asked if she could show him her passport to prove it.
"He wasn’t looking for love when he flew out to Dubai, but Reem really took his fancy, not just because of her name.
"They get on really well and Joey has high hopes. He thinks it could be fate."
The 24-year-old star – who was previously engaged to former co-star Sam Faiers and was last linked to fellow ‘The Jump’ contestant Ashley Roberts – is believed to have fallen head over heels for Reem, who is an air stewardess for Dubai’s Emirates airline.
Despite the brunette beauty – who is a former beauty-consultant and previously lived in Yorkshire – now being based in the holiday destination, Joey is determined to make their relationship work.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "Joey has enjoyed being single, but he hasn’t met anyone he really likes until now.
"He’s hoping to make plenty more visits to Dubai to see Reem."
