Joe Manganiello wants to star alongside Sofia Vergara on ‘Modern Family’.
The ‘Magic Mike’ actor, who started dating the Colombian actress in July, says he would jump at the chance to make a cameo on her sitcom and was even in talks for a part on the show before they got together.
The 37-year-old star said: "There was talk a few years back, but my schedule conflicted so that was something that I guess predated my dating someone on the show.
"I went and hung out on the set with them all one night when they were filming the Halloween episode and they’re great, they’re amazing, so of course I would love to [appear on the show]."
Sofia, 42, was recently spotted visiting him on the set of ‘Magic Mike XXL’ in Atlanta, but he laughed off rumours she has a small part in the film.
He told E! News: "No she was just there, hanging out and being supportive. She does not want to be in it."
The former ‘True Blood’ hunk is looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with his family later this month.
He said: "We’re going to have a big, big, big Thanksgiving. My brother just had a baby, his first baby, so it’s my first niece."
Asked if it’s made him broody, he added: "Well… I mean I’m not a spring chicken if that’s what you’re getting at."
