Jimmy Bullard has been voted off ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”.
The former Premier league footballer became the first celebrity to be eliminated from the jungle in this year’s series during the live show on ITV this evening (01.12.14).
Following his exit from the camp, Jimmy confessed to hosts Ant and Dec he was a "little bit surprised" and "gutted" to have left but thoroughly enjoyed his time in the competition.
He said: "A little bit, A little bit gutted. But I was struggling with the hunger. There are some tough times when you’re hungry.
"I didn’t know what to expect. It came at a great time for me, but I’ve come out of it different.
"I’ve always been around fellas, haven’t I? I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m going to stay mates with all of them unless they delete my number."
The 36 year old also brushed off a heated exchange with his campmate, former ‘X Factor’ star Jake Quickenden, as "banter" after branding him a "lanky piece of s**t" during a row.
Jimmy said: "Ahh it’s banter. All day."
He went on to name Jake, 26, as his favourite to win the competition along with superbike racer Carl Fogarty, 49.
He said: "I would love to see Foggy win it. He was my first closest friend. Jake as well. I think it’d be great for him."
Although Jimmy is the first person to be voted off the reality series he is not the first celebrity to leave this year’s competition after ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Gemma Collins walked out of the jungle after just 72 hours.
‘Coronation Street’ actor Craig Charles also decided to leave the show after learning that his older brother Dean had suffered a fatal heart attack.
