Jim Morrison died of heart failure

Another 27 club member, Doors singer Jim Morrison died at 27 from heart failure.
The rocker is ranked number 47 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.
Shooting to fame with the number one single ‘Light My Fire’, the frontman and founder of the band developed an alcohol dependency during the 1960s which often affecting his performances on stage.
He died at the young age of 27 in Paris and the official cause of death has been listed as heart failure despite no autopsy was performed.
After his death, the band continued but suffered without Morrison fronting the group and they disbanded 1973.
