Jesy Nelson hopes to find ‘full package’ in The Search

Jesy Nelson wants to find a band with "the full package" in ‘The Search’.
The 28-year-old singer began filming for Little Mix’s new BBC singing competition on Wednesday (29.01.20) as hopefuls look to make up a new all-female, all-male, or mixed group, and the lucky winners will get the chance to join the girls on their summer tour in 2020.
Speaking about her hopes for the show, Jesy told RadioTimes.com: "We just want to find something really different.
"I mean, ideally, we’d like to find another…I’d like to find a mixed group, or a boy group."
But the ‘Odd One Out’ star is particularly keen to find someone who has everything they need to become a mega star.
She added: "But just, for me personally, I want to find someone who can dance, sing, the full shebang, the full package."
Little Mix – made up of Jesy and bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – plan to use their knowledge on the seven-part series to bring together the UK’s next musical group after they rose to fame on ‘The X Factor’ in 2011.
The girls previously said: "We want to create lots of incredible groups who really gel.
"As we have been there and done it ourselves, we know what it takes to make a group successful, and will be there to mentor them every step of the way."
Meanwhile, the girl group recently teased that their upcoming talent show is "completely open" and there are "no genres".
Jade said: "We don’t want to give too much away, but there are no genres – we are completely open.
"Boys, girls, numbers-wise – it doesn’t matter. We just want to find the next amazing band."
