Jessie Ware: Ed Sheeran made me a better songwriter

Jessie Ware thinks Ed Sheeran has made her a better songwriter.

The ‘Wildest Moments’ hitmaker has praised the 23-year-old singer for bringing out the best in her music after they teamed up for a secret single.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: "We wrote a song together and he’s playing guitar on it. The way Ed writes and his work ethic is incredible.

"I have to give him so much credit for being able to write something that’s so right for me and elevates the way I sing – he really pushed me hard."

The 29-year-old beauty also thinks the ‘Sing’ hitmaker – who has penned tracks for One Direction and Taylor Swift – deserves every bit of success coming his way.

She explained: "It was such a pleasure to work with him because he is ridiculously talented. I feel lucky that I got a glimpse of him in the flesh writing a song."

Meanwhile, Jessie is set to release her second studio album ‘Tough Love’ later this year, but she admits she’s been too distracted by her upcoming wedding to her fiancé Sam that she hasn’t had time to feel nervous about the forthcoming collection.

She said: "I’ve been too distracted with getting married to be too stressed out about my new album. It’s been a really good thing organising a wedding as it means I haven’t really been able to fuss and worry."

‘Tough Love’ is set for release on October 6.
