Jessie Wallace shocked as ‘someone gets mugged for toilet roll’

Jessie Wallace was left stunned after someone was "mugged for their toilet paper" outside a supermarket.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress took to Twitter to claim the crime had occurred outside a Waitrose in Muswell Hill, north London, and she branded the incident "crazy".
She tweeted: "This is getting so crazy now! Some one got mugged for their toilet paper outside Waitrose in Muswell hill! WTF!!!! (sic)"
Jessie’s shock comes after Brits flocked to supermarkets in their droves to stock up on toilet roll in recent days following the coronavirus outbreak.
At the time of writing, 35 people in the UK have passed away after testing positive for the virus – also known as Covid-19 – and there are more than 1,500 recorded cases in the UK.
The virus – symptoms of which include breathing issues – has killed more than 6,500 people around the world. It originated in Wuhan, China, last year.
In the entertainment industry, filming for numerous movies and TV shows has been postponed, and the virus has also caused havoc with holidays and sport.
As well as her surprise about the alleged coronavirus mugger, Jessie was also left devastated today (16.03.20) following the news her pal Roy Hudd has died aged 83.
Jessie – who plays Kat Moon in the BBC One soap – praised comedian and former ‘Coronation Street’ star as a "lovely man".
She wrote: "He really was. Roy made me a little card years ago with pictures of Marie Lloyd. Lovely man"
