Jessica Simpson reportedly messed up her vows on her wedding day last weekend.
The 33-year-old star was so nervous when she tied the knot with her fiancé Eric Johnson on Sunday (06.07.14) that she accidentally said her own name, instead of her beau’s, when she was reciting her vows in front of her 250 guests at the San Ysidro Ranch in California.
The blonde beauty, whose ceremony was being officiated by her father Joe Simpson, managed to laugh off the minor error before beginning again.
However, Jessica wasn’t the only one to mess up her vows as Eric, who proposed to the star four years ago, also found himself tongue-tied and had to start over again, according to E! News.
Although, the loved-up duo won’t have to worry about their wedding mistakes being captured on camera as it was previously revealed that Jessica sent a strict email to her guests, instructing them not to bring any cell phones or cameras to the glamorous wedding.
Meanwhile, the couple’s two children, 12-month-old son Ace – who was the ring bearer – and their daughter Maxwell, two – who was the flower girl – managed to carry out their ceremonial jobs without any issues.
