Jessica Plummer’s EastEnders script ‘stolen’

An ‘EastEnders’ script was allegedly stolen from Jessica Plummer’s car.
The 27-year-old actress – who plays Chantelle Atkins on the BBC One soap – is said to have had her car broken into in North London last month and thieves took her gym gear and the script, which left show bosses concerned that spoilers might be leaked.
A friend of Jessica said: "They were concerned about details of the Christmas episodes getting leaked – and spoiling all their hard work. They waited it out though and it seems to have paid off as nothing has come of it.
"Her heart sunk. She’s only been in the show for less than a year and she was absolutely terrified of upsetting ‘EastEnders’ top brass."
But fortunately, the show’s bosses are said to have been "incredibly sympathetic" with Jessica’s plight.
The pal told The Sun newspaper: "Luckily, they were incredibly sympathetic and didn’t blame her at all.
"They were more concerned about details of the Christmas episodes getting leaked to the public – and spoiling all their hard work.
"They waited it out though and it seems to have paid off as nothing has come of it."
Jessica only made her debut on ‘EastEnders’ in March, and she previously revealed she was so star-struck by Lacey Turner when she first joined the soap she couldn’t "look her in the eye".
She said: "I remember when I first met Lacey Turner, and I was thinking, ‘I can’t look her in the eye.’
"I really am such a fangirl right now."
Asked who her Albert Square favourites were when she was growing up, she said: "Stacey and Jean. I remember crying my eyes out during one particular episode they featured in.
"I think it was just those two in the episode, and I watched it like five times."
Jessica is currently involved in a hard-hitting domestic abuse storyline, and viewers have seen Chantelle being physically abused by her husband Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander-Smith) for a number of months. But Jessica insists Toby is a "sweetheart" in real life.
She added: "Toby is such a sweetheart, it’s lovely working with him.
"He’s so kind and easy to be with, and the majority of the scenes I shoot are with him.
"I prayed that I would get along with my on-screen husband and I really do."
