Jessica Fox has hinted Hollyoaks’ Nancy Osborne will wreak revenge on husband Darren Osborne when he finds out about his affair.
The 35-year-old actress is "very excited" about the payback her alter-ego looks set to embark on when she finally discovers Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson) has been doing the dirty on her with Mandy Morgan (Sarah Jayne Dunn).
She said: "Nancy’s got to find out about this affair, hasn’t she?
"Personally, I’m ready. I’m [Nancy] walking into a lot of rooms and not noticing anything, so it’s about time she finds out.
"The whole point of an affair storyline is the payback, where Nancy finds out, so I’m very excited about that. I don’t even know what happens."
Jessica has hinted discovering Darren’s infidelity looks set to spell the end of the road for their marriage, and she hopes Nancy moves on because she is a "smart, intelligent woman".
She added to Digital Spy: "I kind of feel that it should be [the final straw], as sad as that makes me because Ashley and I love working together. But how many times can a woman be treated so badly and she goes back?
"She’s a smart, intelligent woman, so I feel like she should move on now.
"But I guess they’ll always be in each other’s lives because they’ve got two kids."
In February, Darren told Mandy they cannot carry on their affair behind the backs of Nancy and her husband Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy).
Despite his feeble attempts to break off their loving, he hasn’t been able to resist her attentions since.
