Jermaine Pennant: Ryan Thomas has a CBB game plan

Jermaine Pennant claims Ryan Thomas has a "game plan" in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The ‘CBB’ evictee – who was booted out of the house on Monday (03.09.18) – believes the former ‘Coronation Street’ star "made it clear" to fellow housemates that he is playing a game on the Channel 5 show.
Jermaine said: "I think he [Ryan] has got a game plan, because he made that clear to us.
"Because we were saying, ‘Ryan, you’re not yourself,’ and he’d say, ‘Oh, you’ll see me when I get out.’ "
The former Premier League footballer claims Ryan "acts up at the right times" on the programme.
Speaking on spin-off show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ last night (04.09.18), Jermaine added: "He’s being reserved, he’s acting up at the right times.
"When he feels the camera is gonna be there he will act up, and when it’s not he’ll have a little snooze."
Jermaine’s comments come just a day after he said he felt "like a mug" for believing Roxanne Pallett when she claimed Ryan had punched her, only for her to back-track when she left the ‘CBB’ house and call her accusations a "horrible mistake".
After show host Emma Willis showed Jermaine footage of the incident during his exit interview, he said: "Is that it? That’s poor, I was expecting something big. I feel like a mug because I comforted her.
"I was like, ‘I’m not gonna speak to Ryan.’ That’s pathetic, what is she thinking?"
Ryan was left devastated after Roxanne’s claims, which led to him being officially warned over his behaviour by Big Brother.
However, the former ‘Emmerdale’ star has since apologised during a TV interview for making the claims.
She said: "I massively apologise, to not just to Ryan but his family friends and fans, everyone single person that watched that."
Following her early ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ exit, Roxanne has stepped down from her job as co-host of radio station Minster FM’s breakfast show, and she has quit panto ‘Cinderella’.
