Jeremy Renner helps the homeless on Thanksgiving

Jeremy Renner took his daughter to help the homeless on Thanksgiving on Thursday (28.11.19).
The ‘Avengers: Endgame’ actor and six-year-old Ava – who he has with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco – teamed up with The Hope Bus to hand out blankets, jackets and meals to vulnerable people in Reno, Nevada.
According to TMZ, the 48-year-old actor – who has a house at nearby Lake Tahoe – had heard about the organisation’s work and wanted to lend a helping hand, so arrived with two large cartons filled with blankets and spent three hours serving over 100 meals to the homeless.
People were "really excited" to see the Hollywood star and he was happy to greet everyone with a hug.
Jeremy’s outing with Ava comes amid his bitter custody battle with his ex-wife, who is seeking sole custody of the youngster.
Sonni recently alleged her former spouse spoke about killing her, threatened suicide during a drink and drug-fuelled rage, and accused him of firing a gun into the ceiling while Ava was asleep in her room.
She alleges that Jeremy told someone in a club last November that he "could not deal with her anymore, and just wanted her gone" as he talked "about killing his wife".
Meanwhile, Ava’s nanny allegedly also overheard him saying he would kill his ex and then himself.
She claimed he said: "It was better that Ava had no parents than to have [Sonni] as a mother."
The court documents say: "Jeremy put a gun in his mouth, threatened to kill himself, and fired the gun into the ceiling while Ava was asleep in her bedroom."
Sonni also claimed the actor had a history of drug use, as well as verbal and emotional abuse.
It’s alleged that he left cocaine within their daughter’s reach on a bathroom counter, while the papers also claim a number of women came to his home.
A spokesman for Jeremy insisted he will always put his daughter first.
They said: "The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy.
"This is a matter for the court to decide. It’s important to note the dramatisations made in Sonni’s declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind."
The former couple broke up in 2014 after 10 months of marriage.
