Jenny Powell ate bull testicles on Celebs on the Ranch

Jenny Powell ate bull testicles on ‘Celebs on the Ranch’.
The 50-year-old TV presenter has revealed how she bravely tried the unusual delicacy on the 5Star reality show, and she was surprised by their "chewy" taste.
Jenny told The Daily Star newspaper: "I watched them castrate the bull and snap the balls off before cooking them on the fire.
"Straightaway I said, ‘I’ll have a go’ and I ate them. They were chewy. I didn’t have to do it, I did it voluntarily. I wanted to really go for it. I wanted to take every opportunity."
Her co-star Louise Spencer jokingly added: "Jenny couldn’t wait to get one in her mouth."
Jenny co-hosted game show ‘The Wheel of Fortune’ from 1995 to 2000, and she is "working on" reprising the programme.
She added to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "I’ve had talks about bringing ‘Wheel of Fortune’ back.
"I have actually enquired about who owns the right to the show. I’m working on it.
"I think it would be great to bring it back. It’s a classic format and everything is going really retro now."
Jenny co-hosted the show alongside Bradley Walsh and then John Leslie, and her main role was to turn letters around on a huge board – but she wants some "role reversal" in a modern version of the programme.
She said: "There needs to be a bit of role reversal this time. When I did it I was just the bird in high heels who turned letters around.
"But in this day and age it’s different. You can’t imagine a woman being told, ‘Look, love … you are just going to stand at the side and turn letters’. That just wouldn’t happen now. So some role reversal is needed."
