Jennifer Lopez is reportedly dating retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
The ‘Ain’t Your Mama’ hitmaker and 41-year-old ex-New York Yankees shortstop and third baseman are believed to have met at one of the 47-year-old beauty’s shows in Las Vegas last month, and are said to be taking things slow and just enjoying a "good light-hearted time".
A source told E! News: "This is very, very new. It’s not serious at all. Jennifer is just dating.
"Jennifer and Alex are both not looking for a relationship, just a good light-hearted time. They are on the exact same page."
It comes after Jennifer said she isn’t bothered by age when it comes to dating following her on/off romance with Drake, 30, earlier this year.
She explained: "First of all, stop! I don’t date younger men. I don’t think men have to be younger. It’s not about that. I just meet people, and if I go out with them, I go out with them. And if I like them, I like them, and if I don’t, I don’t. It’s about the person, you know what I mean? It’s about who they are. It has nothing to do with age!
"There’s this thing, because I dated Beau [her backing dancer Casper Smart], and he was younger, and he was the first guy I ever dated who was younger than me, but then I got labelled right away. For me, it isn’t [about age]. If they’re older, they’re older. If they’re younger, they’re younger. It depends on whether or not I’m attracted to their spirit, their soul, their whatever… their energy."
When recently asked about their fling, the ‘Shades of Blue’ actress refused to divulge whether they were in a relationship.
She said: "We did a song together. We were not writing a song right at that moment. We were just hanging out. Actually he sent me a song that he wanted me to be on, and then I got on the song, and yeah, we have a song together."
