Jennifer Lopez has advised Meghan Trainor to "be very picky" and "aim high" when looking for love.
The 45-year-old singer – who has had three failed marriages to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony – dished out some words of wisdom to the 20-year-old star at the American Music Awards last month, and the ‘All About That Bass’ hitmaker was delighted with the brunette beauty’s helpful advice.
She said: "I (met) Jennifer Lopez after the AMAs and she was the coolest human ever. She was awesome, she was exactly what I wished she was.
"I told her, ‘How do you get men to actually talk to you and flirt with you?’ Because being an artist now, I’m lacking in that category. And she was like, ‘Be very picky, know your worth, know that you’re awesome and you need to aim high.’ I was like, ‘Alright, that’s awesome.’ "
While Meghan is looking for a potential suitor, she already has at least one love in her life at the moment in the shape of Taylor Swift’s latest single ‘Blank Space’, as the blonde star admitted she cannot stop dreaming about the song.
Speaking to USA TODAY, she added: "It’s like, in my head, literally everywhere, every dream. I love it. I think it’s because I saw it at the AMAs and it just blew me away. I was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s perfect.’ "
