Jennifer Garner has become more "ambitious" since she’s had children.
The 42-year-old actress admits her priorities have changed since she welcomed Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and Samuel, two, into the world with her husband Ben Affleck but she believes overall she’s become more determined to succeed for the sake of her family.
Speaking to ELLE magazine, she explained: "My ambition shifted when I had kids in a way that I didn’t anticipate. I became more ambitious for my life as a whole, and for that kind of health and happiness of the overall family unit. And that very much includes my husband and very much includes me."
However, the brunette beauty insists Ben, whom she married in 2005, hasn’t tried to encourage her to stay at home and look after the kids as he’d actually like her to go back to work and throw herself into movies again.
She said: "My husband is always the one saying to me, ‘You have to work, you have to work. This is part of who you are. We’ll figure it out.’ That’s powerful, when your partner has that serious mantra."
