Jeff Beck to release first studio album in six years

Jeff Beck is to release his first album in six years.
The ‘Hi Ho Silver Lining’ hitmaker is gearing up to release his upcoming LP, which is as yet untitled, as a follow up to 2010’s ‘Emotion & Commotion’.
The new studio album will be unveiled on July 15 2016 in conjunction with his his first book, BECK01, which gives fans a unique insight into Jeff’s life.
The limited edition book – which is hand-bound in leather -features over 400 rare and never-before-seen photographs and items of memorabilia and is narrated with an original manuscript of nearly 20,000 words, making the signed piece a must-have for any fan.
Meanwhile, the 71-year-old legendary musician surprised fans when he unveiled his first studio track, ‘Tribal’, since 2010 last year.
Of the song, he said at the time: "’Tribal’ was the first thing I came up with, on day one of the L.A. recording sessions. It was meant to be for extreme club/dance-type music, and it went through several radical changes that just didn’t work. So with Ruth’s vocal we stripped it back to just me and Veronica, with Rhonda’s bass dubbed later, which brought back the wild roughness that I was originally after."
