Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini snubs I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s estranged husband Jean-Bernard has snubbed ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The French businessman – who split from the singer last year following just over a year of dating – was offered a mega-money deal to take part in the reality TV show later this year but he rejected the chance in order to focus on his restaurant.
A representative told the Metro.co.uk: "There have been rumours circulating for a while and he’s a big fan of the show. He’s declined the offer and it’s not something he would consider at this stage while he focuses on his restaurant."
Bosses of the jungle-based show were hoping to secure Jean-Bernard – who is known by his nickname JB – as they thought he might dish the dirt on his marriage with Cheryl.
A source said at the time: "When he was with Cheryl he shunned the limelight but now he’s single he wants to build up his reputation [in the UK].
"He wants to get himself on screen as is in talks to get onto a big ITV show. I’m sure the guys behind ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ would love to have him on board and JB may consider that.
"JB is a businessman and he’s always looking for different opportunities but whether Cheryl would be very keen on the ideas is doubtful – after all, it hasn’t been the easiest of break ups and the pair are technically still married."
Meanwhile, producers are remaining tight lipped on who will be heading into the Australian outback for the next series later this year but it’s believed Spencer Matthews – who was given the boot a few days into the show last year after he was caught taking steroids – will take part again.
Craig Charles has also been offered a huge sum to return after his time in the jungle was cut short in 2014 when his brother Dean tragically died from a heart attack.
