Jamie Laing ‘in talks’ for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Jamie Laing is reportedly "in talks" to take part in this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ hunk, 29, has been approached by bosses of the creepy-crawly show after he won over the hearts of the nation with his appearance on the sister series ‘Extra Camp’ last year while his co-star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo – who went on to be crowned queen of the jungle – battled it out in the Australian camp.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jamie has been telling friends he is in talks to do it, which is long overdue after his stints on the ITV2 show.
"Producers love that he has got a TV following and online fans with his own YouTube channel, as they are trying to snap up a younger audience.
"He’s a cheeky chappie and no doubt the public will fall in love with him like they did Toff."
The new series will look somewhat different from previous years as Ant McPartlin recently confirmed that he won’t be joining his co-host Declan Donnelly to present the show in order to focus on his recovery.
Ant – who checked into rehab earlier this year after he was fined £86,000 for drink-driving – said in a statement: "My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off. I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year."
It’s believed Dec may present the show alone – as he did with ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ this year – but his friend Holly Willoughby is also tipped to be joining him.
The line-up for the new series is yet to be announced.
