Jamie Laing: Dating on TV is tough

Jamie Laing says dating Frankie Gaff on ‘Made in Chelsea’ is the "hardest thing" he’s ever done.
The 28-year-old hunk believes his relationship with the blonde beauty would be a lot easier and stronger if every little detail of their love lives weren’t aired on national television every year.
He explained: "Being on a show and having your relationship on it is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’ve never really had a proper relationship on the show so yeah, it was pretty testing at times. But I’m hoping we can be okay for the future, for sure. Oh my God, it would be so much easier if it wasn’t on TV. Relationships on camera are the hardest thing in the entire world, they really are. It’s a nightmare. But that’s what we signed up to do, so we’ve got to do it."
The blonde-haired hunk first joined the reality TV show five years ago but he’s got no plans to move on just yet because he believes he owes a lot to the programme for making his career.
Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: "’Made in Chelsea’ is my roots – I’m pretty loyal towards it," he said. "It’s sort of what gave me this access to this incredible world which I’m so lucky to be a part of. Everyone always goes, ‘You’ve got to move on’. But with me, we’ll see what happens. If the timing’s right, the timing’s right. At the moment I’m on Made in Chelsea and that’s what’s happening but we’ll see what happens in the future."
