Jamie Chung: I can’t watch fiancé in One Tree Hill

Jamie Chung is embarrassed to watch her fiancé in ‘One Tree Hill’.

The 30-year-old beauty – who stars in Alfonso Cuaron’s new TV drama ‘Believe’ – has revealed she got a "kick" out of Bryan Greenberg’s role as angsty heartthrob Jake Jagielski in the hit teen drama but found it awkward to watch him.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I never really got into that show [when it was on air]. But we were together at a hotel and one of the episodes came on. I just couldn’t … it was so dated – the moppy hair, the chokers, the puka shell necklaces. I was like, ‘I can’t watch this, Brian, I’m so sorry.’ I got a kick out of it."

The former reality TV star has built up an impressive acting career since finding fame on ‘The Real World’, and she admits she often turns to Bryan, 35, for career advice.

She explained: "It’s always so much easier to think outside the box when it’s not the project you’re working on, and we certainly help each other. It’s quite awesome to be in a relationship that understands the business. He’s a lot more seasoned than I am and I feel like I get a lot more help from him. I couldn’t have asked for anything better."

Jamie plays Channing in new US sci-fi drama ‘Believe’ and she feels incredibly lucky to work with the show’s executive producer Alfonso Cuaron, who recently won an Academy Award for Best Director for ‘Gravity’.

She gushed: "It was like a sweep … six other Oscars! Before, I was like, ‘Alfonso’s a great director.’

"He’s so down to earth and nothing really gets to his head. I was like, ‘Holy crap, he’s an Academy Award winner!’

"He’s the best of the best and we had the opportunity to work with him.

"He’s such a good person, and a hard worker, he really deserved it."

‘Believe’ begins on Thursday 27 March at 9pm on Watch (Sky 109/Virgin 124).
