James Jordan blasts Craig Revel Horwood’s ‘disgusting’ Strictly score

James Jordan has hit out at Craig Revel Horwood following Aston Merrygold’s shock ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ exit.
The professional dancer blasted the judge’s four out of 10 score for the JLS singer’s Viennese Waltz with pro partner Janette Manrara as "disgusting", and claims the pair’s surprise axing has "ruined the series".
Speaking in a Facebook Live with wife and fellow professional dancer Ola Jordan, he said: "He had 25 points … he should’ve been nowhere near the position he was on the leaderboard.
"Craig put him there, that’s a fact. Craig gave him a four which was disgusting, and you can’t justify that.
"He’s going to go on ‘It Takes Two’ and say, ‘Oh, it was my opinion, I didn’t like it. I marked it a four and I stand by my four.’
"Bulls**t, I call bulls**t. I’m sorry to swear. It is slightly frustrating.
"I actually could cry for Janette and Aston … for me, it’s ruined the series."
Aston became the sixth celebrity contestant to leave the BBC One talent show on Sunday night (05.11.17) following a dance-off against fellow singer Mollie King.
Judges Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli opted to save Aston but Craig and head judge Shirley Ballas disagreed, sending the JLS star home.
But Aston – a former favourite to win the Glitterball Trophy – wasn’t bitter, admitting he had "the best time" on the programme.
He said: "Honestly, every second of this, I’ve had friends who have done the show before and they’ve gone, ‘You’re going to have the most amount of fun from start to finish whatever it is’, and honestly they weren’t lying!
"Everything, from this lady to every single person in here, these four judges, yourself, Claudia, all you amazing lot up there that I get to see and spend so much time with. I’ve made some amazing friends and honestly I’ve had the best time, it’s been amazing."
James’ comments come after he previously claimed Aston was being deliberately marked down earlier in the series.
He said: "Aston’s dance was full of brilliant lifts and tricks.
"But the judges twist scores. Someone does an amazing performance and they don’t want them to run away with it. They did it with Danny Mac last year. I get irate about it.
"It’s meant to be about teaching someone who’s not danced before. You won’t see a Darren Gough or Mark Ramprakash win again."
