‘Loose Women’s Jamelia has split from her boyfriend.
The 35-year-old presenter has revealed she recently dumped her beau Jean Louis Pascal, whom she started dating last summer, but is not wasting any time in mourning and is ready to date again.
Speaking on the lunchtime show on Wednesday (16.06.16), the brunette beauty made the revelation during a discussion about Taylor Swift hitting the headlines today after being spotted locking lips with actor Tom Hiddleston just two weeks after splitting from Calvin Harris.
She said: "It did strike a chord with me [the story about Taylor moving on so fast], I recently ended my relationship. I was thinking well what is she supposed to do?
"Am I supposed to stay in mourning? I think it depends on the level of heartbreak and if she’s not heartbroken and she wants to move on, well if Mr. Right comes along tomorrow I don’t want to spend a certain amount of time alone."
Jamelia announced she was dating Jean in January when she admitted on the show that she had found it a struggle introducing her two daughters Teja, 14, whom she has with her ex-boyfriend Terry Wallen, and Tiana, nine, whom she has from her marriage with ex-husband Darren Byfield.
The singer – who had been single for eight years – said at the time: "Since the day I met him no one else has existed. I’d given up and thought there were no good men out there.
"It’s very important to me that the girls know why this man has been allowed to become my boyfriend. I want my children to know what a good man is."
