JADE unveiled as Mighty Hoopla festival’s special guest

JADE has been announced as a special guest for this year’s Mighty Hoopla festival.

The former Little Mix star – who has wowed with her recent singles ‘Angel Of My Dreams’, ‘Fantasy’ and ‘IT girl’ – will be taking to the main stage at the LGBTQ+ extravaganza at London’s Brockwell Park on Saturday, May 31.

A press release read: “Mighty Hoopla has been inundated with messages asking for JADE to perform at this year’s festival, so the team are delighted to make these wishes come true!”

JADE will make her solo appearance before Ciara’s headline slot on the Saturday, while ‘Tik Tok’ hitmaker Kesha is the headliner for Sunday (01.06.25, with a special guest appearance from ‘Eurovision’ winner Loreen, meaning it’s an all-female headlined event.

Other previously confirmed acts include Jojo, Erika Jayne, Jamelia, Daniel Bedingfield, Omar Rudberg, Daphne and Celeste, Mutya Buena, Vincint, Vengaboys, Kash Nash and The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, G Flip, Pixie Lott and Lemar.

Meanwhile, JADE – whose full name is Jade Thirlwall – just reflected on releasing ‘IT Girl’ and how it’s her “middle finger” to “any man who’s wronged me” in the music business.

The 32-year-old pop star posted to Instagram over the weekend: “I guess we were feeling extra sassy that day because we really went in with the lyrics.

“I’ve described this before as Angel’s [expletive] little sister – there’s no hidden meaning or beating around the bush with this one. This is my [middle finger] to any man who’s wronged me in this industry and serves as a reminder of my worth. I hope you can all channel this energy when you’re listening.”
