Jackie Fast and Tom Bunday have been fired from ‘The Apprentice’

Jackie Fast and Tom Bunday have been fired from ‘The Apprentice’.
The 34-year-old Sponsorship Consultant and the 28-year-old tree surgeon were the ninth and tenth candidates to be axed from the 16th season of the business reality show on Wednesday night (28.11.18) and Jackie thinks she "couldn’t have gone out any better" as she is the "only person in 14 years to be fired for being too good".
In an exclusive interview with BANG Showbiz, she said: "I expected I would get fired for the reasons I got fired so it doesn’t come as a surprise I would have wanted to get further along in the process. But I mean to go out because I’m too good I think you couldn’t have gone out any better and I think I’m the only person in 14 years to have been fired for being too good."
This task saw Tom try his hand at selling goods on television, and the former contestant admits that his stint at presenting was "a bit of a bloody shambles".
He said: "It was a bit of a bloody shambles I’m not gonna lie to you and especially the clips they’ve shown. Obviously it wasn’t a strong point but it was fun and we enjoyed it, it could have gone a lot better I’m not gonna lie."
Tom also confessed that he knew he was getting fired as he "lost as project manager for the third week in a row" and despite getting by in past weeks, it was his time to go.
He said: "I know that I was fired because I lost as PM for the third week in a row. Ultimately he let me through because he saw that I contributed a lot to the tasks that are lost to the PM and when I won I was the top salesman. I think that he kind of saw that but I think it was just unfortunate that the third time it ended up I was PM and ultimately we lost it."
