Jack Whitehall quits A League Of Their Own

Jack Whitehall has quit ‘A League Of Their Own’.
The 29-year-old comedian has decided to walk away from the popular Sky 1 show after six years in a bid to conquer the US and his work schedule is too packed now.
Jack said: "I’ve actually made the decision to leave ‘A League Of Their Own’.
"I’m leaving because my schedule is very busy. I love doing it but I can’t do it for ever and I want to explore new opportunities – I would like to do more in America."
Jack has developed a close friendship with host James Corden and fellow panelists Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp over the years.
But the comedian is confident that their friendships will survive beyond the programme.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It was very sad sitting down Jamie and Freddie and telling James on the phone. Jamie wept.
"I’m the b*****d breaking up the friends. But I think they still like me."
In fact, Jack suggested that his friendships might benefit from the boys seeing less of each other in the future.
He explained: "I think we’re all still pals, it will probably help going forward with our friendship as we won’t see each other all the time.
"I’ve been filming a load of other things and have new opportunities coming up and I just felt like it was the right time to leave."
Despite this, Jack predicted he’s going to experience withdrawal symptoms.
He added: "I’m going to miss it I’m sure. Come the summer I might have to pay someone to come round and put me in a spandex bodysuit and hang me in a harness and throw some balls at me just to make it feel like I’m still doing the show."
Jack will be replaced on the show by fellow funnyman Romesh Ranganathan.
