ITV ramp increase Hub offering for summer 2020

ITV are to increase their Hub offering this summer, bringing back several popular shows from 2020.

Bosses have chosen to "supersize" their content on the video-on-demand platform with the likes of this year’s winter ‘Love Island’ and drama ‘Quiz’ returning to the service.

Steve Forde, Director of Digital Products, said: "As more and more of our audiences look to the ITV Hub to watch ITV programming, we’re continuing our transformation of the platform by expanding our programming catalogue over the summer to ensure we give our viewers the opportunity to binge on the best drama, factual and reality shows from 2020."

Viewers will be able to tune into the Hub to binge hard-hitting dramas like ‘White House Farm’, and ‘Flesh and Blood’, as well as the most recent series of ‘Liar’, which concluded in April.

‘Love Island’ fans can get their fix after the summer series was cancelled by watching the 2020 winter series – which was won by lovebirds Paige Turley and Finn Tapp – all over again.

Reality TV fans will also have the option to re-watch ‘Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries’, ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’, ‘Gemma Collins: Diva on Lockdown’, ‘Ibiza Weekender’ and last year’s season of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.

And factual fans can relive their favourite adventures with Bradley Walsh’s ‘Breaking Dad’ and ‘Gordon, Gino and Fred: American Road Trip’, as well as ‘Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai’.

The news comes after ITV bosses decided to launch the spin-off show ‘Britain’s Got Talent: Unseen’ exclusively to the ITV Hub.

The eight mini-episodes take viewers behind-the-scenes to watch never-before-seen footage of the contestants and co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, as well as unseen comments from the panel.

Nigel Hall, Global Head Of TV, Syco Entertainment, said: "During these tough times we are determined to deliver entertainment all the family can enjoy.

"We are confident Britain’s Got Talent: Unseen will be perfect for that and the ideal accompaniment to the main series."
