Isla Fisher wants to play Prince in biopic

Isla Fisher wants to play Prince in a movie.
The 40-year-old actress is a huge fan of the late musician – who passed away in April from an accidental fentanyl overdose – and would jump at the chance to play the diminutive star on the big screen.
When asked what is top of her bucket list, Isla replied: "Starring in a biopic of Prince. We are the same height, which I do not believe is a coincidence."
The actress also revealed her most embarrassing moment was when she smuggled in Ali G’s beard and glasses to the 2016 Academy Awards so her husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, could play a prank.
She told The Guardian’s Weekend magazine: "Being frisked by Oscar guards when I had hidden Ali G’s beard and glasses in my Spanx on the way down the red carpet, all so that my husband, who had been warned by producers not to try anything funny, could outwit them."
Isla also credits Sophie Kinsella’s book ‘Confessions Of A Shopaholic’ with changing her life, as it gave her her first ever leading role in a movie.
She said: "’Confessions Of A Shopaholic’ is the book that changed my life. I bought it at an airport and fell in love with Rebecca Bloomwood. The movie was a breakthrough careerwise, my first role as a leading lady."
However, Isla’s worst ever role was in the Australian soap ‘Paradise Beach’.
She explained: "It was a 1990s Aussie soap. I had to wear a bikini the whole time – including during funeral scenes."
